EXPLORING DISTRICTS AND NEIGHBOURHOODS
Begin your adventures in Boston with a leisurely wander through its neighbourhoods. Each has its own personality and will reveal plenty about the charms of the city.

For a bit of international flavour, you can head to Chinatown. Sample the diverse range of cuisine on offer, then peruse the clothing stores and hunt for some unique market treasures.

Beacon Hill is another historic neighbourhood with picturesque cobblestone streets, stylish gas lamps, redbrick and wrought iron. This area was settled in 1625 and you can sure feel its old-worldly appeal in the air. Then there’s the ever-vibrant North End. This is village life at its finest; full of bustling cafes, live music, and of course being Boston, historic sites. It’s a foodie paradise with pastry shops nestled in intimate alleyways, and Italian fare is abundant, so come hungry.

Of course, you can’t really experience Boston without a visit to the downtown and waterfront areas. You’ll find the Boston Common, which is the oldest park in the country, along with the thriving financial district and flamboyant theatrical scene.

Back Bay is another popular neighbourhood with its unique shops and vintage homes. Stroll alongside the Charles River, take in the copper facades and shop til you drop at high-end boutiques.

Just 15 minutes’ drive from the city is Cambridge, home to the famous Harvard University. Soak up the city’s culture of academia and learning, or travel further afield and explore the stunning scenery at every turn in the New England region.
