The best time of year to go is in the Dubai winter, as it’s far too hot to be outside in summer. However, most of the malls and other attractions are located indoors for precisely this reason, so you can find something to do anytime. There is so much to do in Dubai, and it caters for all seasons, interests and ages. Here is a top five list to get you started. Palm Jumeirah Back in 2001, while Dubai was great place to visit, what it apparently lacked was a group of islands and about 520km of extra shoreline. Enter the artificially created, palm tree shaped, Palm Islands. Of the three island groups, Palm Jumeirah, Palm Jebel Ali and Palm Deira , the Palm Jumeirah was the first constructed and there the most developed. The Palm Jumeirah is a must-see in Dubai, not only for its beauty, attractions and magnificent hotels, but as a feat of modern engineering. While back in 2009 rumours abounded that it was sinking around 5 millimetres a year, the development company, Nakheel Properties, have vehemently denied those claims. You’d better be quick though, just in case. Wild Wadi Water Park Down the road from the Palm Jumeirah, is the Wild Wadi Water Park. It’s a fantastic place to spend an entire day with your family and friends. If ride names like Tantrum Alley, Master Blasters, Juha's Journey, Flood River and Burj Surj don’t convince you, then maybe the five retail outlets or variety of restaurants and cafes are more your scene. You can even go surfing on the Wipeout and Riptide FlowRiders. Dubai Mall Love shopping? Well be careful what you wish for. Based on total area, the Dubai Mall is the world's largest shopping mall; enough to challenge even the most determined shopaholic. You’d be hard pressed not to find something you like, whether it is the 1200 shops, including the world’s largest sweet shop "Candylicious", the SEGA Republic indoor theme park, Dubai Ice Rink or the Dubai Aquarium and Under Water Zoo. Dubai Mall retained the title of world's most-visited shopping and leisure destination in 2012. More than 65 million visitors can’t be wrong. Burj Khalifa At 829.8 metres, the Burj Khalifa skyscraper is the tallest man-made structure in the world. Positioned at the heart of Downtown Dubai, it is surrounded by hotels, shopping and entertainment. Kick off your Dubai sightseeing with a trip up the 124th floor observation deck via the high-speed elevators. You won’t find a better spot to marvel at the sights of Dubai... unless you are afraid of heights. Jumeirah Beach Hotels The coastal area of Jumeirah Beach has some of the best hotels in the world. The beach is world-class and you’ll be impressed by the quality of facilities and the service. These hotels have some amazing pools, whether you want peaceful luxury or family fun. If you get the chance to ride a camel along the beachfront, take it – it’s great fun for all ages! > Click here for Cheap Flights to the Middle East or HOT Middle East Holiday Deals Enquire Now First name* Last name* Email* Phone How can we help?
