Scotland is a great place to travel by car. There are loads of historic sites but perhaps the best thing about driving is the warm Scottish hospitality you get wherever you go.

Just outside Inverness you can visit Culloden - the last battle fought on British soil and site of the massacre of many of the Scottish clans.
