GOLDEN RETRIEVER GIVES OUT FREE HUGS IN NYC

And you thought your grandma gave out the best hugs. Nope, it's Louboutina, the hugging Golden Retriever.

At home in NYC, Louboutina (also known as Loubie) took it upon herself to start giving passers by a good hug. And now she's become a bit of a Big Apple sensation. Her owner, Cesar Fernandez-Chavez , says she actually picks the people she wants to hug: finds a connection and offers her paws.

If anything's going to get you on the next plane to the USA, it's Louboutina. Oh, and these incredible USA deals.

TO HELP TOKYO VISITORS UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY ARE EATING

Go on, be honest - how many of us have visited a brand new country, freaked out at the foreign menu, and darted into the nearest Maccas for a burger. A Big Mac is a Big Mac is a Big Mac, right?

Well now, a new tour in Japan, coined 'The Sushi University' is combining authentic Japanese dining experiences with a dedicated interpreter. Tabimori, Inc. travel group take the mystery out of what you're putting in your mouth. Try traditional Edo-style sushi in the Tokyo area while a fluent local explains exactly what everything is. Find out more here.

Cool new things to try in Fiji

VOLUNTOURISM
You’ve heard of Fiji, right? It’s that little nugget of paradise in the South Pacific with champagne sand and crystal water. It’s also where we go to loll on the beach and sip frosty cocktails by icy pools.

But, it could also be somewhere you visit to volunteer. To roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty. For almost eight years the Fiji Outrigger Beach Resort (and one of the most popular and award-winning resorts in Fiji) has also been offering its support to the local communities via various voluntourism projects. And now you can help too.

Read all about it here.

Put Fiji on your 2017 bucket list with one of these incredible Fiji deals.
