Brilliant ice blue glaciers, whales, moose, bears, remote wilderness and unique Native cultures are just some of the unforgettable memories that “The Last Frontier”, the largest State of U.S.A. has to offer. Five distinct regions make up this great land – South Central, Inside Passage, The Interior, Far North and Southwest.

Known as the hub of Alaska, Anchorage provides the gateway to the adventure, culture and incredible landscape. Start the day with some shopping and end it watching the calving of a glacier on board a narrated cruise. Cruise the waters of the Inside Passage and be surrounded by pure nature. Or from Juneau, hike through the rainforest along Mendenhall Lake and onto glacial terrain, a unique experience.

Travel in to the Interior region to Denali National Park and find not only wildlife but the tallest mountain in North America – Mt McKinley. For a unique winter experience you can’t go past Fairbanks with dog mushing, ice sculptors and the famous Aurora Borealis – the Northern Lights.

Vast, remote, crossing the Arctic Circle is what the Far North is all about. Ceremonies and traditions of the native culture can be seen at Alaska’s largest Eskimo village in Barrow. Try your luck panning for gold on the edge of the Bering Sea at Nome.

View brown bears in their natural habitat feeding on salmon on Kodiak Island in the Southwest region. An area where you get to see changing landscapes of volcanic terrain in the Katmai National Park to the windy grasslands of the Aleutian Islands.
