The Sunshine Coast Hinterland is all about moseying around, uncovering all that’s on offer.

The local produce is just one of the highlights: everything from fresh herbs to vanilla vines and incredible native produce like rainberries and wattleseed pasta. A great way to work up an appetite is to go cycling or walking, and the Hinterland offers kilometres of trails to do just this.

Head inland from Caloundra to Mary Cairncross Park, 52 hectares of superb tropical rainforest. Wander the trails, then soak up the views of the breathtaking Glasshouse Mountains over a coffee as you plan your next move: the quirky Eumundi markets or historic Montville?
