Bintan Island
Only 45 minutes by ferry from Singapore, Bintan Island is part of Indonesia.
Although you will need your passport to get there and purchase a visa on arrival, there’s no need to change any money as Singapore dollars are accepted. With its close proximity to Singapore, visiting the Island means you can easily combine shopping and city life with a couple of days relaxation at a beach resort.
