Nothing like its western counterpart; the painted faces, fabulous costumes and nimble battle scenes make it a definite cultural experience!
Beijing’s biggest downfall is the pollution, but if you can look past that, you’ll see a beautiful city filled with an ambience of bygone imperial days, developing communist ethos and a new sense of community and culture. China at its best!
