Romantic Cook Islands

story by: Inspire Cook Islands

The Cooks offer a casual and totally romantic setting for you and your loved one to share your wedding day. Be it simple and personal or elaborate and formal, a magical place where tropical flowers bloom, stunning beaches wrap the idyllic blue lagoon and tropical cocktails are waiting for you. Fulfil your dreams and immerse yourselves in the culture by adding local traditions to your day. Arrive at your location in a traditional canoe paddled by a Cook Island Warrior in traditional costume, go barefoot, wear a sweet smelling tropical lei or arrive to the sound of the conch shell and depart to the captivating sounds of the beating drum. No matter what you choose for your wedding day, romance is always a promise in the Cook Islands. Allow a gorgeous bungalow on the beachfront to become your home or opt for a resort with full facilities. The great thing is, no matter where you choose to stay, everything is within easy reach. Enjoy the flavours of fresh local cuisine at nearby restaurants, and experience traditional island songs and dance, pulsating drums, swaying hips and colourful costumes at a dazzling Island night, a true showcase of Cook Island culture. Think of heavenly Aitutaki with it stunning turquoise blue lagoon. A honeymoon haven with days spent relaxing, swimming and snorkelling with enough space and solitude to have that precious time together. Step back in time and experience this truly secluded island paradise where idyllic days turn into romantic nights.
