Close your eyes, image your perfect day...
You’re standing hand in hand on deserted Whitehaven beach, with the waves gently breaking on pure white silica sands, an island hideaway, surrounded by glistening azure water, fringed with coral reef. At the end of the day you nestle into your private rainforest hideaway – an oasis of peace and tranquility, waking to the sounds of the forest. It can be an intimate ceremony for just the bride and groom standing barefoot on the beach, with a champagne picnic hamper to follow, or arriving in style, by Jaguar, helicopter or seaplane for a 200 guest formal extravaganza. Simplicity or five star luxury - a Queensland wedding has endless possibilities.
In the midst of the Great Barrier Reef floats 74 islands that make up The Whitsundays. These tropical retreats offer romance, adventure, relaxation or activity.
Exchange your vows in an intimate wedding chapel or in a scenic spot filling the air with a release of beautiful butterflies – unique opportunities when choosing a Hamilton Island wedding.
Surrounded by warm sunny beaches, languid rivers, awe-inspiring rain forests and the Noosa National Park, Noosa is another dream wedding location, stunning scenery, leafy Hastings Street with its high class fashion or near-by Fraser Island the world's largest sand island, choosing is the hard part.
Further south, expanses of rolling surf and golden sand set against a spectacular high rise skyline, Queensland’s Gold Coast offers a vibrant, cosmopolitan wedding destination. Fine dining, premier nightlife and sophisticated shopping sit alongside the playground of the theme parks.
It is as though these romantic locations have been carefully crafted with just the two of you in mind.
