Helpdesk Consultant - I help the consultants with anything and everything, am essentially here to make their jobs easier :)
What’s the best thing about working in the travel industry?
I was in travel for a decade and loved it, it’s ever-changing and there is always more to learn. There are always opportunities to get involved with new and different challenges, I love that.
How long have you worked for HOT?:
I’m in my 4th year now. I started in Leisure Travel as a consultant to get to grips with the NZ industry again after 5 years abroad, then moved into Corporate Travel which suits me well, I love the speed and the pressure of it.
Then last year I decided on a career change into IT and moved to HOT HQ where we have a great team who have welcomed me with open arms – am loving the change and all the new things to learn!
Why do you like working for HOT?:
Most of all I love the way HOT embraces people for who they are, and how celebrating success and incorporating fun into the day is always a priority.
Favourite Holiday Destination?
Oh the million dollar question! I’ve been so lucky and seen so much… but a shortlist would go something like this:
- Rural Italy
- Western Canada
- Mamanuca Islands
