• How does the Build an Itinerary / Quote Request work?

  On houseoftravel.co.nz there are thousands of travel, accommodation and visitor activities available for you to view. Some of these can be booked right away if you know what flights you want to book. Sometimes however, what you really want is to talk through the options with one of our experienced travel consultants and this is where 'building an itinerary' comes in. Simply add the items of appeal, enter your details and the House of Travel outlet you wish to hear from, and we will contact you ready to help you. Contact us to find out more about building an itinerary.

• Can I search for travel and accommodation packages?

  Yes. Using the HOT Holidays section of the website you can search for the best package deals that we are currently able to offer on destinations of your choice. To book these packages send us an enquiry.

• How can I obtain a quote for a flight?

  To obtain a comparison of airfares available for your preferred travel details make a flight enquiry here

• Can I change what's in a HOT Deal travel package?

  This depends on the deal selected, some deals have specific airlines and hotels whereas other deals offer mulitple hotel options. However we can always create a custom package to suit your needs, just email us with the details. You ultimately determine what's included in your package.

• Do HOT Holidays require a minimum stay?

  This depends on each HOT Holiday deal, usually there is a minimum night stay required. Please read all details and terms and conditions on the HOT Holiday deal you are after.

• How do I book a HOT Holiday?

  Send us an enquiry on the HOT Holiday you wish to book and we will contact you. Alternatively you can visit your local House of Travel outlet and book it there.

• I'm an independent traveller. Are travel packages for me?

  Our travel packages are for everyone, whether you're an independent traveller looking for good value, or searching for an all-inclusive vacation experience. Our packages are flexible, so you're able to customize them around your needs. Contact us for more details.
