Orcas swimming next to a ferry, salmon swimming upstream in the middle of town, cheese making at Pike Place Market are just some of the experiences you may not expect to find on a visit to Seattle.

A great walking city where viewing art is a walk in the park at Seattle Art Museum’s Olympic Sculpture Park, a free visual experience of outdoor art and views of the Olympic Mountains. Wander the bustling waterfront or hop on a ferry to experience the San Juan Islands or Vancouver Island.

During your walk the iconic Space Needle is ever present. Take a journey out of Seattle and within 30 minutes you will be draining the credit card at the Premium Outlet Mall or for the aircraft enthusiasts there is the Boeing plant open to the public on selected dates. Further out a day trip to Mt Rainier National Park should not be missed.

Whew time for that coffee, after all, Seattle is where Starbucks was founded!
